A captivating musical performance unfolds through a series of interconnected journey points, mixing memory with reality and aspirations. What is the cost of trying and failing? How can our surroundings influence attempt and outcome? What is identity, what belonging? Led by oud, electric guitar and the rhythms of kitchen tools, the protagonist vies with customs and traditions, rebels against them and ventures into the unknown. The quest for wholesome identity begins in the neighbor’s kitchen and concludes in the diaspora.
